In light of the cancelled game and concerns over upcoming games we have been in contact with the club and they assure us that, barring any unforeseen events, the games on Tuesday and Saturday WILL be going ahead. This also means we will be able to go ahead with the Trust AGM which is of course before the Rotherham game this Saturday.
Obviously with a number of players unwell our squad will be stretched to its limit so we urge everyone to come to the games and to encourage as many people as possible to join us at the ground to support the team.
We will of course be following up on the details of events surrounding the cancelled game at Wigan but for now, let’s get behind the players on the pitch, whoever pulls on the yellow shirt.
So hopefully see you all on Tuesday night and on Saturday for the AGM at 12:30 before the Rotherham game.
AGM details as follows:
The meeting will begin at 12:30 pm and we urge all members to come along and get involved. We will also be able to take memberships on the day so if you know of any non-members who want to attend, then £10 will secure them entry and a three year OxVox membership.
There will be some formalities to attend to and we will give some brief examples of some of the work we have done since we last met, but given how long we have had to wait to meet up we will leave more time for questions and discussions afterwards. Our members are what make OxVox and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 27th. A member of the committee will be waiting outside the main reception (South Stand) entrance from 12 noon to direct members to the meeting room but please keep in mind the doors to the stadium will not be open before that time and it will take us half an hour to set the room up properly. We will endeavour to make sure there is plenty of spacing and ventilation in the room.
